A new release from Pre-Echo, a label run by MATT CONNORS, a painting artist from Chicago who is active in NY and is also associated with Cali Thornhil Dewitt, and which releases artists such as JEFRE CANTU LEDESMA. Vol.1 of two releases from BEAST, a new name by Koen Holtkamp, who releases from Thrill Jockey, Trouble In Mind, and Mexico's Umor Rex. This is an album series created based on the music created for the 3D laser projection installation that is also the cover of the visual artist. Three deep electronic tracks that develop the sound of a sonatine-like marimba-like modular synth in a minimalist and rhythmic way, with an interesting raw feel recorded live in one take.
