MARIANNE NOWOTTNY is a woman with a different flavor from RIOT GRRRLS, which existed in the New Jersey scene that no one knew about in the late 90s. It was an industrial post-punk that had a chemical reaction with NO WAVE-like darkness and contemporary musical art in a remote countryside with misunderstandings, which may have been in response to Berlin, the cutting-edge electro-clash land that was born at that time.
