Wet Leg, a band of Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, discovered on the Isle of Wight in the UK, has released their first album in 2022. When a guitar band balances edginess and pop in a life-size way, it becomes punk music that the girl next to you sings along to, but that doesn't happen. Most bands are either idol bands called punk or underground bands called pop, and it's really difficult to find that balance.
