CHARLIE HICKEY was born in 1999 and grew up in a town near downtown Los Angeles. When he was 13 years old, he covered his favorite PHOEBIE BRIDGERS song and uploaded it to the internet. PHOEBIE BRIDGERS contacted him and, with her support, he began collaborating with her band member Marshall Vore.
