Since digital distribution has become mainstream, compilations have become hard to sell, and it is no surprise that this album is from Melbourne, Australia's Efficient Space, a label unrivaled in its music discovery and selection sense. This album is a collection of minor folk songs, mainly from the 70s, with themes of love, loss, and savior, by Mikey Young, a member of EDDY CURRENT and an engineer for a large number of current guitar bands. Even though they are folk songs, they are covered in the melancholic colors of Efficient Space, and exude a sentimental punk spirit that is full of the 80s bubble economy. This is a superb and hard-to-find 2-disc record with a total of 17 songs.
