A unique woman, or rather a human being, whose beauty exudes danger and whose human defense instinct makes us overlook it. A genius with true madness that the world does not notice. This 2022 album by ALDOUS HARDING is sure to be one of the most representative albums of the 2020s. Art should not be something that brings about a quiet revolution. We can just live and die in a daze, but perhaps this is what each and every human being should be, not just art. That's what I thought after getting this album, but this work is a masterpiece that shows minimal and traditional performances and arrangements, but the modern artistic perversion born from the values of the new era shines brightly in a novel way, and at the same time, it provides a dilemma that ordinary people like us cannot keep up with, while also giving us masochistic pleasure and ideas for the future. Participants include Jason Williamson from SLEAFORD MODS, PJ HARVEY's partner JOHN PARISH, Sebastian Rochford, the leader of POLAR BEAR and drummer who also played in SONS OF KEMET, and her boyfriend H. HAWKLINE. ///more///

MEGA BOG, who stands alongside CATE LE BON and ALDOUS HARDING, has a great 2021 album. Her previous works were also lovable, but this one was produced by James Krivchenia of BIG THIEF, and even the topic of her own power and discovering what she needs to do makes me feel moved. She painted the post-punk lines of Manchester male and female duo LUDAS on Crepuscule's ANTENA, which even CATE LE BON couldn't challenge in the 1980s, which is like an anarchist's vacation-like jazz and legitimate violence. That said, there is nothing legitimate in this world, and your claims are nothing in front of this album. Meg Duffy of HAND HABITS also participates.

KING KRULE gave birth to the definitive BLACK COUNTRY, NEW ROAD, and contemporaneous reals and fakes created rock history. FURY, 2021 debut single. A precocious young man influenced by NINA SIMONE and LEONARD COHEN sings and plays like an underground Broadway set in Bristol with a heavy bass and a contradictory blue sky and an eternal slope street. PJ HARVEY's partner JOHN PARISH, who worked on DRY CLEANING, has the potential to see the future. Limited to 500 pieces.
