This is the 3rd and last album released in 1991 by THIS MORTAL COIL, led as a fictitious band led by Ivo Watts-Russell, the boss at the time who determined the world view of 4AD from the mid to late 80's. This work, which is also an album, was remastered from the double-page re-image artwork supervised by Vaughan Oliver of 23 Envelopes, who was a design team belonging to the label with Ivo, and the original master tape by John Dent. CHARLIE HICKEY was born in 1999 and grew up in a town near downtown Los Angeles. When he was 13 years old, he covered his favorite PHOEBIE BRIDGERS song and uploaded it to the internet. PHOEBIE BRIDGERS contacted him and, with her support, he began collaborating with her band member Marshall Vore. Then, after dropping out of school and starting his music career full-time, CHARLIE created his debut 12-inch single in 2021. She participated in the chorus on "No Good At Lying," a tear-jerking pop song in the direct line of PHOEBIE BRIDGERS. A limited edition of 6 songs by a newcomer with incredible potential. From PHOEBIE BRIDGERS' label Saddest Factory.

=BACK IN= PIXX, 2017 1st album by Hannah Rodgers, 19 years old signed with 4AD. COCTEAU TWINS seems to have dropped the direct aesthetic to the current and traditional British indie line, but it's an electronic female pop that perfectly targets GRIMES and ST. VINCENT.・I think her approach exploded, but she actually turned into a goddess at the center of the current London indie scene. In addition to being directly connected to guests at HMLTD's live and around SORRY, STONE ROSES seemed to update LUST FOR YOUTH in the 21st century. I know that's what it is, so it's always new because I don't know. A piece that may actually symbolize 2017.

=BACK IN= We finally understand why he signed with 4AD at the age of 19. PIXX, 2019 second album by Hannah Rodgers from London. Of course, other than that, there are enough guarantees to the world that she graduated from the art school that produced Adele and Amy Winehouse, but it is very special that she firmly exists in the modern London youth culture scene. (I was surprised) And apparently in this work she will lead it towards the 2020s. If DAVID BOWIE was still alive, he would have knocked out his body and mind with his sound sense that did not rely on the genius Bedream Pop that ARIEL PINK built up and somehow threw it to the other side. How to make the most of the melody and the idea dedicated to it is outrageous. GRIMES is ...
