BLANCHE BLANCHE BLANCHEやBIG FRENCHといった傑作バンドにて暗躍した鬼才Zach Phillipsがベルギー在住のシンガーMa Clémentと結成したバンドFIEVEL IS GLAUQUE、Fat Possumとサインしリリースされた2024年アルバムは、ZachのDIYとインディペンデント・スピリッツの集大成と思いきや、さらにインディ経由のフェイク・ジャズと思いきや、それは全て私の思いきやだったのだが、そんな浅はかな知ったかぶりインディおじさんの脳天を冒頭曲 "Hover"の展開とコーラスワークでブチ抜きおじさんは死に際にこう言った。『他の曲もサビメロの決め方最高じゃん...』そうだ、君はそうやって孤独死したまえ。だが私は死なん！といった君になれ。とZachは言っている。はずはないのだが彼はとにかく全てを理解しこの2020年代にこの盤を放った。としか私は思えん。そしてやはり生きる。もっと生きる！と道端で叫んだら今どきはすぐ捕まるので家でこのレコードを聴くのがナイス。
